Hi cincfam...I am also an E. The first few times you order, you may have to use trial and error to figure out what works best for you but my hips (which includes my baby pouch) are almost exactly 10 inches bigger than my waist measurement. I find if I use the waist measurement, most things fit on me. Just as a disclaimer, though, most of my pants/jeans/skirts/shorts have some time of stretch fabric in them. The main reason for that is I happen to have skinnier thighs and calves in proportion to my midsection. If I don't buy something with a little stretch that runs a little smaller, I end up with baggy material in the legs that makes me look very frumpy and fatter than I am. So if you are buying something with a little stretch to it, you will probably have good luck ordering for your waist measurement but if you are buying something with very little give, you may need to order somewhere between waist and hip measurement. I hope this helps a little. Good luck!
