  1. It's a new week -- and we are sharing about what we are wearing?

Last week I found this 3/4 sleeve fitted blazer. It's brown tweed with a gold fleck -- absolutely perfect for me. It's a touch small so I should get many wearings from it as I lose weight. And, I found it at a thrift store! I was really excited all the way around LOL.

  1. Elaine, thanks for starting us off for the week, now I feel more like this post isn't my thing, but our thing! :) I was busy this weekend and had run out of pictures to post, but now I've cropped them and downloaded them, so I'm ready to join you again. OUr water is clean again! By the way, I love your jacket and the one you posted the day before, on last weeks' post. Beautiful!

  2. Happy Tuesday!

  3. I wore the brown dress and tried different tops over it. I ended up wearing the light brown sweater on top.

  4. I LOVE this weekly posting! It's wonderful to see so many different ladies post their photos and share their style ideas with each other.
I'm happy to join in when I can. I'm certainly not as talented at taking photos of myself...perhaps I'll get the flash OFF next time.
Elaine, I love that scarf on you! The pretty colors around your face is a good choice. Helen, I love how you took a photo of each top over your dress...smart idea SYSter!
I'm posting a photo of what I wore to run errands the other day. Nothing fancy...just what I wore my dark purple denims with (navy/white striped tee and denim jacket)...Love to you all! Leslie MSP

  5. Hi everyone,

Helen, Hooray for clean water!! I hope that rebuilding is going well for you and your community. I love the series of dress photos, it is very informational for me.

Leslie, cute outfit for running errands! The autoflash on my phone is why I use my tablet, which does not have a flash so I can't goof it up LOL

So this is what I wore yesterday. I think this picture is a lesson in why longer length tops aren't a good choice for minimizing hips/butt. I have a lot of booty and you can *really* tell in this photo! It's funny, I have had a subscription off and on for about 4 or 5 years, but until I started taking photos of my outfits, I didn't really learn that much. So thank you Helen, even though I don't always like to post the photos of my outfits, I sure am upping my style by doing so!

  7. Elaine,
You are so right about taking pictures of our outfits. Don't know what it is, guess you can be more objective when looking at a photo!!

  8. Love these posts ladies so good to see. I had lost my style way as I've put a bit of weight on. But got back to it. Had a half hour in my wardrope will put up pictures with what I found despite thinking I had nothing to wear! The grey shirt is stretchy a recent find in a charity shop. I love the black and white cardigan it goes with everything and is more slimming that my bad photo makes it look. I take these pictures for myself, wish I had smiled a bit..x Karyn

  10. Taking pictures is helping me a lot too. Also, knowing I will be posting them here keeps me trying hard to make new outfits every day and to do my make-up and hair and to try to look good every day. Being a stay at home mom, the motivation isn't as strong as it is for those who go out to work.

  11. I love yesterday's outfit, Helen. Those colors are perfect for you, and that necklace is a wonderful accessory.

Elaine, you're still rocking your new style lately.

I love to see this thread everyday, and wish I could join in more, but I lost my camera at a church event. I am still hoping it will find its way home to me.

  12. Karyn, I can't see your photos :-(

Helen, that gray looks really nice on you! I really hate gray for myself or even in my house's furnishings, but you look terrific in it. I like your jewelry, too, great choice.

Trudence, I sure hope your camera is returned! That is so sad.

So I'm a few days behind, first is what I wore on Wednesday. I actually wore it like the out-of-focus picture, just hanging straight with the pin.

Then I am uploading another outfit that I put together to try to wear leggings. What do you all think, should I actually wear this out and about? :-)

  13. My post just disappeared.... hate it when that happens and I have to write everything again.... trudence, sorry about your camera, I miss your posts. My 3 year old threw my camera in our pool this summer and my 9 year old jumped in after it, clothes and all and it did work again after a couple of days! Elaine, I like the scarf straight best too. I like your top with the vest very much. I don't know about leggings, 2 ladies in my homeschool group wore them with hip-length sweaters last week, so I know people are wearing them as pants, but MSP says to wear them with things at lease mid-thigh or longer. Your vest is that length in the back. As for my pictures, I didn't actually wear any of these but was trying on tops and dresses I got on ebay last week (spent too much money but it was fun!.. :)). It's too cold for short sleeves right now.

  14. Elaine, love the look with the vest, cream v necked top and the boots. Very slimming. I agree with the others that he scarf looks better straight. I just got two new scarves and am researching different ways to tie/wear them. Tina
