hi Helen! I loved your dress from two days back - the jeans suit you very much and I like the vest. I can't quite tell in the picture but I think the vest has some ruching on the side? It makes a nice shape at the waist. About today's dress - I like the combination of brown and green. Is it a wrap top, layered tank and shorts? Its hard to tell!

:) Thanks, SamMoy. Yes, yesterday I was wearing shorts. It is getting colder though, so I don't always know what to wear. In today's picture, I am wearing gray. I've never worn gray before, and have been on the lookout for some gray as it is a good neutral for my seasonal coloring and goes so well with all the blues and pinks. I got the skirt at a thrift store recently and the little cardigan on ebay. I had never worn brown before MSP either, but have loved wearing it now that I know which brown looks good on me.

Helen - I like the color combo and the way the blue is showing at your sleeves. The two greys in jacket and skirt do look a little bit "matchy" to me. IMHO that look works when you're wearing a suit, but no so much with a more casual look? I think this combo might work nice with a little hoodie in a white or a color matching the blue? Just some suggestions to play around with.

below is what I wore yesterday. I want to say I absolutely hated how I looked after I took the picture and saw it! My pants are too baggy and I look short!

I agree with Demimondaine, today's outfit it great for you...love the color in that shirt. Here is the outfit that I wore to our homeschool group meeting at the library...the sweater, which fit last year, is now too big on me, but will have to do until for at least one more "size reduction" as I lose weight.

Mauve and teal are my very best colors, teal for my eyes and mauve for my complexion. I am trying to wear them more. Trudence, I homeschool too!
