  1. I'd love to find a cute, lightweight denim jacket for fall. I love the Chain Denim Chauncey Jacket from Chico's, but it's too boxy on me and has that darn crew neck (I need a V, and something more fitted). Any suggestions?

  1. I just saw some denim jackets at Christopher Banks, you might give them a try. I was looking at a brown (I'm an Autumn) denim one that is more fitted and had lapels. That particular one didn't come in blue, though. Good luck!

  2. Macy's has quite a few different styles and colors on their website.

  3. I have one from Chadwick's that they call a jean jacket blazer. It has a fitted fit and a V-neck, and I love it. (Currently only seems to be available in a light wash, which I wouldn't care for, though -- I prefer the darker wash that makes it look OK to be worn with work clothes.)

  4. I got one at a second hand store. It's light fabric, v-neck, with princess seams and goes to just above my knees. It seemed to suit me more than other types. Like you said, they seemed so boxy on me and I need more flowy type things. Good luck!

  5. I love the idea of finding one second-hand. Maybe you will find one that works...however, if you really want to add one right away, try Coldwater Creek. They have a classic style denim jacket in a variety of deep rich fall colors + denim. They also have several other denim jacket styles that are quite nice and very flattering on the body. Good luck in your quest! Leslie

  6. I just found one a couple weeks ago at Dress Barn with a "v" neck, unlined, turn-up cuffs. I love everything about it but the buttons. I want gold/copper colored buttons and these are silver. My Mom had an idea to easily change the buttons without a lot of fuss. She suggested painting them with the right color of finger nail polish. I suppose that would wear off over time, but I'm going to try it and see what happens.
