I am body type C, and I have a heart shaped face. I have been a member for a while, but I don't remember if anyone has talked about the best type of glasses frames. I also have poor vision, so my glasses are thick and heavy unless I have plastic lenses.

Thank you! That is a very nice site with lots of information. I have a very bad eyesight, and it is joke for me to look at glasses in a store because I can't see well with just frames. I have always felt that I was not making the right decision. I found this link in All You magazine; you get the first pair of glasses free/reduced price. It is coastal.com. That lists several links to other websites, where you can purchase prescription glasses/sunglasses. Some of the sites have a function where you can upload a picture of your face and then view how different frames will look.

Oh! Do you know a website where you can upload a picture of your face and view it with different frames? I heard about them but don't known any of the websites that do that. I need to get glasses sometime soon too as my eye sight is getting worse with age.

Zenni optical.com has a site where you can upload your picture for "trying on" glasses. It also has very reasonable prices.

Uploading my picture works great. I always take quite a bit of time (like 6 months!) to think about new glasses before I buy new frames. I want to make the right decision. I would suggest that if you wear glasses, go to one of the sites and play around with the pictures. You can really try different things without having use up time at the eye doctors' office.
