I have absolutely no idea what to wear to my daughter's wedding. It is 7 weeks away (1st week of October) and it will be at the beach. I have looked and looked, returned and returned outfit after outfit and I still have no idea what to wear. I am a plus size C or E body type (14W or 16W). I have a big bust, slightly defined waist and heavy hips and legs. I also have varicose veins that I cannot stand so I do not feel very comfortable in dresses. I am 5'4 so I am not too sure about long skirts... I am in my mid forties. Here some background: 1. The wedding ceremony is on the beach. Wedding dress is casual. Hubby and groom are wearing khakis and polos (not sure of color but most likely white). No other wedding party - no bridesmaids or groomsmen. Bride's dress is sand color, strapless, long and flowing. 2. Beginning of October so still warm out. Wedding is at the Outer Banks. 3. Wedding is at 5:00 - Reception is dinner and dancing until 11:00. This will be inside at the reception hall. I really like this jacket by Joan Rivers at QVC. I was thinking of black sling back pumps for my shoes. The jacket colors are red, black and purple. I really like the purple color but will this color be too dark for the wedding? Maybe I shouldn't wear so much black?? Any thoughts or suggestions? Any retail websites/stores that folks can recommend? I fine with another idea all together. Thank you so much!! - Clueless MOB :)
