Haven't seen any discussion of wigs here, so thought I would start one. There are lots of lovely wigs nowadays - don't have to be long and swishy. Lots of lovely short and chin length wigs too. Anyone have any friends who have "poor or no hair" and look good in wigs? Synthetic wigs can be washed and left to dry, and the style is still there, no problem.

I purchased a short length topper from Godiva's Secret Wigs last summer and was pleased with it. I did have my hairdresser trim it for me. They have many You tube videos on line and also info on their website. I would check their return policy to make sure it will work for you. They periodically send discounts to your email if you sign up.

Sounds good. Does a topper "pull" at your own hair, as it is fastened with clips inside?

Thank you, tellanna. Hairpieces etc make it so quick and easy to go out looking good, without fighting with difficult hair.

Sorry for the delay in responding. You do have to be careful removing the topper. There are 2 clips in the front and 2 in the back that snap down over your hair. I recommend playing with them a bit before fastening so you understand how they operate. The directions are to unclamp when removing and roll back from front to back gently. In other words, don't just pull it off. I don't wear it often but it does come in handy when you need to go somewhere and your natural hair is misbehaving or your hair frizzes on vacation.

I'm glad to see this. My hair has been thinning for a long time. I lost nearly all of it for some unknown reason. Some of it's come back, but it's still so thin and limp. I've got one last trick to try then I may have to go to extensions, which I loathe, or some sort of supplemental "hair." I'll check out Godiva.
