I am considering purchasing a nice leather everyday purse. I wear black, gray, and brown basics as well as denim. If I can only buy one, should I choose black or Brown? I am considering a lifetime leather bag from Deluth Trading Co.

Have you considered a tan, pewter or taupe bag? Taupe goes with just about everything. If I had to pick between black and brown I probably would go with black and then get an inexpensive straw bag for summer. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I went with your advice and chose cognac which was pictured as a buttery tan. I think that I will like that better than black.
