What is everyone's favorite color to wear in fall? I love wearing both browns and grays. I'm thinking this fall I'll add in a deep wine color. Does wine look good with browns?

Great question, Julie. I'm a "summer" and also trying rose-brown, burgundy and grey. would love to know what other colors to use besides black.

This year, I'm enjoying charcoal grey and jewel colors like wine, forest green, and navy. I can't visualize wine and brown together at the moment. A neutral color thrown in somewhere would help brighten up the look.

I could see wearing wine with a lighter, warmer brown, like this: http://www.color-hex.com/palettes/5795.png ...but greys would be easier! Personally, I'm wearing a lot of navy, cream, burgundy, and various denims (dark-wash jean jacket, still working on how to dress up my medium-wash bootcut jeans). I like to throw in the occasional orange accessory in fall--looks great with grey, navy, AND brown. Haven't bought anything new yet this season, but wine/burgundy does seem to be big.

Hi Wonderer, great suggestion about lightening up the brown to wear with burgundy. Will look for that. How about a blazer with those jeans?

Oops, we have snow now that is not melting during the day, so the coats in the 2 photos above are no longer warm enough.
