Hello everyone I'm trying to build a nice core wardrobe with quality items on a reasonable budget. I would like to purchase a pair of good quality boots that will last me a few years. I live on the golf coast so it hasn't got cold yet and when it does get cold it's not very long so we still have a good selection of boots in stores. Because I am trying to get the most for my budget does anyone know generally when boots are marked down? I've been looking at Dillards and see a few pairs that I like but I cannot see you spending over $150 for a pair of boots when I know they will go on sale!

I bought my boots from Land's End in August. They are similar to this year's style, but more classic w/o the little belt. Leather and leather lined for $99. Had been $249. Here's this year's style already on sale. Buy on weekend for no shipping. Also watch for 20% off sales on weekend. http://www.landsend.com/products/womens-blakeley-riding-boots/id_280170?sku_0=::UQQ
