shirt length for Bs

  1. I am a little confused about shirt lengths. I am 5' 8'' and have always gravitated toward longer shirts because I am a bit short waisted with long legs. When looking at the B profile, I see that shirts and jackets should end at the high to mid hip so as not to cut the body in half or emphasize the lower hip, the widest part of hip. I feel funny in shirts so short because I feel they look too small and make my upper body appear shorter than the rest of my body. Anyone have this experience?

  1. I'm not a B, but I thought you had it right for your height, short waist and long legs...I thought longer shirts were better for you so you will look more in proportion.

  2. Yeah, sometimes the advice given for your body shape/profile can contradict the advice for your body *proportions*. I'd suggest trying a variety of shirt lengths within those two ranges, standing in front of a full-length mirror, and really looking. (If you're trying them on at a store and find a good sales clerk, ask her for input, too.) If you still feel best in longer shirts, stick with it!
