Anyone have any idea how to get tickets for some of the shows at either NY or London fashion week? I would adore to go once (it's on my bucket list). Don't care about placement, etc, just want to see/do some of the major drama that are the shows, drink some cosmos and pretend to eat! I would be more than willing to pay for the tickets. Just don't know where to start.

Thanks, that is actually pretty helpful. I have a pal (equally obsessed) in the UK, so perhaps London is the way to go. Also have looked at the Vogue Fashion Weekend they have done the past few years (Brit Vogue) at one of the huge London venues. Sells out very quickly, but tickets can be had.....and there is always scalping if one MUST see a particular event. We just kinda want to be Edina and Pats (our bad girl roll models) for a day, walk around with a bottle of champers, etc. ;' ) Even though we both worked on the edge of fashion in our younger days (we were far more Andy than Miranda!) but morphed into the nice Mom's who volunteered for everything. Now, we basically throw some benefits and watch our DH's of many years brag about their golf games!

Good on you for not giving up on your dreams and having a life of your own. It sounds like a wonderful idea and such fun. Having a pal to do it with will be wonderful. Good luck with getting tickets and enjoy the planning and execution.
