4 Tips for Weekday Wardrobe Planning

It's Sunday. Spend just 15 Minutes today to plan your outfits for the upcoming week.

A little advanced wardrobe planning now goes a long way towards a more relaxed and stress-free week. Get out your timer and set it for 15 minutes.

Use my "wardrobe creating tips" below to help you put-together a few outfits for your week ahead...

1. Start with an accessory. Take one statement accessory, scarf, or even a funky pair of shoes and let them be the catalyst for creating a unique and stylish outfit. What top and bottom or dress are you going to wear with it?

2. Wear a "tried and true" combination.  Wear something you know looks fabulous on you. There's nothing better than starting off your work week in an outfit that makes you feel like a million bucks!

3.Start with one piece in a color you know looks stunning on you. For me, my go-to feel good color is typically blue. How about you? What's your favorite color to wear? Start with one piece from your wardrobe in that color and see what happens...

4. Add a little "extra" to a basic outfit. Start with a classic top and bottom (perhaps all in the same color)...now add a unique topper: layer on a light-weight blazer (push the sleeves up), or add a vest, a scarf, or a interesting or bright sweater. Adding that extra piece is the quickest way to sharpen up any casual outfit.

Follow these outfit creating tips above and you've already got 4 outfits to wear!  What other outfit can you come up with to make it 5 weekday outfits?

BONUS TIP: Hang each complete outfit (including accessories) on 1 hanger. Each morning, everything is together and ready-to-go.
